2011+ Duramax, BMW MS43 and 2014 vehicle support available
Thursday, 23 May 2013
Tuning for 2014 vehicles is now available locally and will be released shortly for use with load-it-yourself cables.

Tuning for BMW MS43 DMEs now available locally or via mail-in.

We are also looking for a few local vehicles to dyno-tune so that we can publish before/after graphs:

2011+ LGH/LML Duramax
2013+ Cadillac ATS or Buick Regal 2.0T
2014 Chevy Silverado
2012+ Chevy Cruze 1.4T

Global support for Cruze, Sonic and Orlando cars
Saturday, 27 April 2013
We now support 2009 and newer 1.6L and 1.8L Chevy Cruze, Orlando and Sonic cars sold worldwide, equipped with Siemens/Continental ECMs. You can mail us your ECM or purchase a tuning cable and upload the tuning yourself.

Distribution software available
Friday, 23 November 2012
We're excited to announce the availability of our own flashing software named "Belle" for most 1996-2013 GM vehicles.

If you have access to a laptop running Windows, you can now purchase a custom calibration for your vehicle, choose the "load-it-yourself" option (if available) and you will be sent a cable along with our software and instructions for obtaining and uploading your custom calibration.

As part of this announcement, we would also like to offer a $50.00 rebate valid through 12/24/2012. You will receive a $50.00 refund on your payment if you choose the "load-it-yourself" option and e-mail us a picture of your car and comments about your experience.

Madtuner dyno-tunes first 2005 Cadillac STS V8
Tuesday, 24 July 2012
After significant research and development, we have finally dyno-tuned our 2005 Cadillac STS (LH2) and we would like to share our results as well as announce the availability of engine and transmission tuning for 2004-2006 Cadillac STS (2005+), SRX, and XLR cars.

Video of one of the runs:

The car gained 17 RWHP and 16 RWTQ at the peak of the horsepower curve and significant gains throughout the entire RPM range. Dyno graph available here

While we had the car on the dyno, we have also done a top speed test, the graph of which is available here. Governed by the rev limiter only, this 3.23 gear equipped vehicle reached 165 MPH.

Northstar development news
Monday, 04 June 2012
We have been busy developing software for allowing us to tune additional Northstar-powered vehicles and we thought we would post an update on our progress.

We just purchased a clean 2005 Cadillac STS (V8 RWD) to help us with E22 engine control module (ECM) software development (we already support the five-speed Siemens transmission control module):

We have begun tuning it a day later. Here is a speed limit test on this never before custom tuned ECM (click to enlarge):

We have also just finished dyno-tuning an unmodified 2001 Cadillac Seville STS (L37 engine) and we have been surprised by how well this vehicle has been calibrated from the factory. The gains from timing and air/fuel ratio changes were negligible. Since we already had the car on the dyno, we've decided to see how good the induction was on this car and that too turned out to be designed very well. With a disconnected airbox, the car gained 2-3 HP at high RPM, losing some horsepower in the low range. This indicates that in stock configuration, better induction systems will likely not yield significant gains on this particular engine/year. Dyno graphs can be viewed here.

Video of a run:

Despite the lack of significant gains on the dyno, the car responded very well to torque management and shifting adjustments on the street, making it more responsive and aggressive at launches as well as shift noticeably better and quicker. We now fully support this platform as well.

Stay tuned for more updates.
